Stray mission || Ile Aux Benitiers

Today we ventured to this piece of paradise to feed the hungry strays there. Saw 5 dogs and 3 cats. Took 2 of the friendly cats to be sterilized and then will bring them back to the island. Apparently there are more dogs but they were probably hiding from the heat. We will continue to go there as long as there is a curfew and if any other NGOs are keen to make a day of it, we can give you the number of the lovely young man who gave us a lift there from La Gaulette. If we each cover a few days a week, at least we know that they have some food and clean water.
